In order to sail you need to know two things, the ropes on the port side of your ship (The left) are used to angle your sails left and right. The ropes on the starboard side of your ship (The right) are used to raise and lower your sails. Angling the sails into the wind gives you a speed boost depending on how much wind you are catching. Raising and lowering your sails makes your ship move forward.

Weight is the maximum amount of items your ship can hold. This can vary from item to item. Overweighting your ship will slow it down.

To purchase a ship you must head to a drydock which is located on the 3 major islands (Volney, Aerisland, and Doobin.) You must have the correct amount of money needed to purchase your ship of choice. Then press ‘view ship’ on the ship of your choice and then purchase it. You must name the ship after pressing buy.

First, you need to spawn in the ship you want to paint at a port that has a drydock on it (Volney, Aerisland, and Doobin.) You must have a paint bucket on yourself in order to paint your ship. Put your ship in a drydock and head over to it. Then hold out the bucket and select the paint you would like to apply to your ship and press apply. You can purchase a paint bucket at the drydock for 25 Robux or 5000 coins.

Make sure you have a wood plank on you. Then go up to the hole and hold out the wood plank and hold ‘E’ to start fixing the hole. If the hole is in an inaccessible location such as behind the storage cabinet in the brig then put your ship in a drydock and repair it there using coins as payment.

In order to put those items back, you must spawn your ship and put it in a drydock. Then hold the item you would like to put back on your ship in your hand and place it back in its slot. If you took those items out and are missing them then ask someone if they have any spare parts.

First. you must be inside your ship. You cannot place furniture outside your ship or on top of it. Then hold the furniture you want to place in hand and press ctrl + click at the same time to place it. Press R to rotate the furniture. It is easier to place down furniture if you are in a drydock as your ship cannot rock because of the waves in there.

To craft items, you need a crafting table. You can find this on the first ship you obtain, which is your sloop. If you have lost your crafting table then ask someone else if you can use theirs. After that, you must gather the materials needed to craft the item you want. To craft them they must be in your inventory and not in your ship’s storage. Press ‘craft’ on the item you would like to craft and hold E to craft it. Do not pick up the materials on the crafting table while crafting unless you pressed craft on another item by mistake. Once you have crafted the item you wanted to craft, pick up the item off the crafting table.
